Aldeia do Futuro is a nonprofit civil society organization founded on October 30, 1993, in Americanópolis, in the southern region of São Paulo, Brazil. It was created through the mobilization of business and community leaders committed to promoting citizenship, social development and opportunities for people living in vulnerable contexts.
For more than three decades, Aldeia do Futuro has worked to develop people and expand horizons, creating pathways for adolescents, young people, adults, women and older adults through professional training, human development, productive inclusion, digital inclusion and community-based initiatives.
Throughout its history, the organization has strengthened its role as a community-based institution, responding to the needs and potential of the territory where it operates. Its work is grounded in the understanding that sustainable social transformation requires more than access to a single service or opportunity. It requires an integrated approach that considers human development, emotional well-being, community life, access to rights, professional skills, income generation and the strengthening of family and community ties.
Over the years, Aldeia do Futuro has expanded its programs and partnerships, connecting public authorities, companies, foundations, social organizations, volunteers and the community around initiatives designed to create concrete opportunities for personal and professional development.
Today, Aldeia reaches more than 2,000 people every year through initiatives in areas such as professional training, gastronomy, administration and human resources, beauty and aesthetics, photography, digital skills, technology, music, intergenerational development and employability.
Its journey is guided by the belief that every person has the potential to create new possibilities for their own future when given access to opportunities, support and the tools to develop their capabilities.
More than 30 years after its foundation, Aldeia do Futuro continues to work in Americanópolis and beyond, transforming opportunities into pathways for autonomy, productive inclusion and new futures.
