SHORT BIOGRAPHY
With more than 15 years of experience in the Social Good Sphere, I have a wide range of experience in building the capacity of local communities and empowering them through capacity building and education; awareness raising and changing the behavior of communities with regards to issues related to education, employment and health. Before joining Jordan River Foundation, I led the Royal Health Awareness Society (RHAS) as its Director General for eight years. Prior to that, I was the Country Director for Counterpart International (CPI) based in Washington, Jordan Office between 2005-2007, where I was responsible for overseeing the implementation of all CPI’s projects/programs in Jordan.

Celebrating 25 years since its establishment, JRF continues to build a Jordan for safer children, equal opportunities, and sustainable growth, as it marks the commendable transformation of hundreds of thousands of beneficiaries reached under its Community Empowerment and Child Safety Programs.

Driven by values of social justice, impactful interventions to alleviate poverty, and socio-economic empowerment - focusing on women and youth, JRF implements various programs to achieve its mission of transforming Jordanian communities.
