THE COMPANY-SCHOOL INTEGRATION CENTER OF THE STATE OF RIO DE JANEIRO, a social auxiliary action organization, under private law, providing social assistance, certified by the Ministry of Social Development as a charitable social assistance entity through Ordinance SNAS/MDS No. 164, of 12/28/2020, published in the D.O.U on 12/29/2020, considered of Public Utility, registered with CNPJ no. 33.661.745/0001-50 Municipal Registration no. 30.757-2, registered as a Legal Entity under no. "A", no. 6 and 4, on 02/22/65 in the Civil Registry of Legal Entities (Ex-Cart. Castro Menezes), with its own headquarters at Rua da Constitution, 67 – Center – Rio de Janeiro – RJ.
CIEE is the largest Civil Society Organization for the integration and employability of youth in the labor market in Latin America, establishing agreements with various public bodies at the Federal, State and Municipal levels, such as: Public Ministry, Private and Government Banks, Court of Justice, Attorney General's Office of the State of Rio de Janeiro, City Halls and Municipal Secretariats throughout the State.
The history of CIEE/RJ is marked by a trajectory of dedication to the education and training of young students for the job market. Founded in Brazil in 1964, CIEE has played a fundamental role in the integration between theory learned in the classroom and practice experienced in the workplace. CIEE's activities in Rio de Janeiro began to take shape in the 1970s. With a commitment to promoting the employability and professional development of young people from Rio de Janeiro, the organization established strategic partnerships with educational institutions, companies and public bodies in the state.
The 1980s marked a period of significant growth for CIEE Rio de Janeiro. The institution expanded its operations, established regional offices in several locations and expanded its offer of internship and apprenticeship programs, providing valuable opportunities for thousands of students.
Over the years, CIEE has played a vital role in training and guiding young people seeking their first professional experience with a strong role in activities in the vulnerable community.
CIEE operates in a continuous, permanent and planned manner, providing services and executing programs or projects aimed at defending and implementing social assistance rights, promoting citizenship, confronting social inequalities, coordinating with public rights defense bodies aimed at to the public of social assistance policy. Its story is a demonstration of the ongoing commitment to the training of future generations and the sustainable growth of the state of Rio de Janeiro.
CIEE enters into agreements with thousands of private companies throughout the country, operating programs and projects for Preparation for the World of Work and Human Development, expanding the qualifications and social development of youth in the state of Rio de Janeiro. CIEE serves 2,589 municipalities across Brazil, and in the last 6 decades in the state of Rio de Janeiro it has inserted more than 2.5 million young people into the job market.
The CIEE in its commitment to regularities in all social control bodies, in the Municipal Social Assistance Councils and Child and Adolescent Law Councils, as well as participation in forums and councils, in all municipalities in the state in which the entity has an operational service unit.
CIEE SOCIAL ASSISTANCE INDICATORS IN THE STATE OF RIO
The Services provided by CIEE are located within the coverage area of the Social Assistance Reference Centers of the respective municipalities served by the regional service units. In the city of Rio de Janeiro, CIEE is a reference in the care of young people who are referred by the 10 Social Development Coordinators of Rio de Janeiro. on an itinerant basis in Social Assistance equipment and institutions in 15 municipalities in the state.
